Do you have an event but don't have a location? Would you like a wedding to remember? The Sheridan Opera House is the perfect place to hold meetings, conferences, private parties, concerts, weddings and movie screenings.
The Main floor includes the box office, a 1,400 square foot (capacity 140 person) Gallery Room with a small bar. This Gallery Room is perfect for children's birthday parties. The Second Floor of the Opera House hosts our 240 seat historic theater, equipped with a stage, movie screen, sound/lighting system, and concessions vending area. The Third Floor houses the beautiful Vaudeville Bar which is fully licensed to serve beer, wine, and spirits. The theater balcony is also on this level.
The Sheridan Opera House maintains the unique ability to host events that require full theater seating, partial theater seating, cabaret seating, or even no seating at all. Minor variations on these basic layouts can be made, but changes must be approved prior to the event. A 20' Wide by 8' Deep "thrust" or stage extension is available upon request. This works particularly well for theatrical performances and weddings which often require additional on-stage space.
Though, the Sheridan Opera House does not have kitchen facilities, we do permit outside caterers. Select your own caterer or ask us about our preferred caterers.
