–The Crown Jewel of Telluride–
The Sheridan Opera House is an intimate 238-seat theater listed on the National Register of Historic Places and home to the Sheridan Arts Foundation (SAF). This historic landmark, referred to as both “Telluride’s Living Room” and “The Crown Jewel of Telluride,” offers events year-round and has become a non-profit venue benefiting a number of local charitable organizations, community endeavors, small businesses as well as Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
As of April 2, 2022, the Sheridan Arts Foundation no longer requires proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test to enter the building for an event. Visit our COVID-19 page to learn more about health precautions in the historic Sheridan Opera House.
The historic Sheridan Opera house is owned and operated by the Sheridan Arts Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
