Too Many Zooz

New York City’s Too Many Zooz bring their wildly energetic “Brass House” sound to the Sheridan Opera House. Born from the underground subway scene, the trio blends baritone sax, trumpet and drums with jazz, funk, Afro-Cuban rhythms, hip-hop, EDM and house music to create an explosive, entirely instrumental sound built to get people moving.

Formed in 2013, Too Many Zooz became a viral sensation after videos of their subway performances took off online. Since then, the band has taken their high-energy show around the world, released albums including Subway Gawdz and Retail Therapy, and performed alongside artists including Beyoncé. At the center of it all is the unmistakable energy of baritone saxophonist Leo “Leo P” Pellegrino, whose athletic playing and dancing have become a signature of the band’s live performances.

Expect a genre-bending, bass-heavy dance party from one of New York’s most unconventional musical exports.
